The jury was impressed with the sensitivity given to the orientation of the building to the adjacent boulevard and medical center entry drive, as well as the overall scale and massing, respective of its residential neighbors to the north.

The restrained use of materials as well as color created a strong geometric form expressive of the interior space.

The departmental clarity of the plan and building entry was strongly delineated in the overall building form, breaking the scale and massing.

The architect's handling of natural light and interior forms has created a light, healing, spirited mood to the quality of the overall space.

The quality of construction and the strong execution of detail are outstanding.

The consistent attention to detail, scale, accessibility, and quality of light recommend this project for recognition.
